Chromium

What we use: Chromium Picolinate²⁶

What it does:
• May help insulin move sugar from blood into cells²⁶
• May support your metabolism²⁶

When you don't get enough:
Scientists have not defined a normal chromium-deficiency disease. A few old cases in people fed through an IV were once blamed on chromium, but newer reviews say those cases do not prove it.²⁶

Why we include this form:
Chromium is weird. Scientists still argue about whether it is essential, while the FDA still gives it a Daily Value on U.S. labels. We include a measured amount just in case, as its role is still being worked out.²⁶
